Warranty Against Delivery Damage

At Wilding Wallbeds we are committed to offering the finest quality products on the market and we want you to be satisfied with your Wilding Wallbeds purchase. This is one of the reasons why we offer so many options and products. Our Packaging utilizes a multi-layer protection process that significantly reduces any potential for damage. In our commitment to your satisfaction, we go the extra mile by offering a Warranty against Delivery Damage that will cover issues that may be caused from the shipping process.

If the unlikely does occur, to qualify for this warranty you must contact Wildling Wallbeds Customer Service on the day of your delivery to inform us any damage to your order, and you must sign the Bill of Lading as damaged. This is a critical step. Additionally an Inspection will be required including photos which will need to be sent to our Wilding Wallbeds Customer Service Team. These photos help us identify the extent of the damaged parts. Our professional Wilding Wallbeds Customer Service Team will help you determine if this damage or missing parts will require the delay of your product set up.

Our Warranty against delivery damage does not cover defects in materials, workmanship, structure, or the finish of parts NOT damaged by the delivery process. Our warranty does cover shipping and handling fees, however it does not cover service, or installation, un-installation or re-installation fees incurred by the customer to replace a part, or parts, of the product. Wilding Wallbeds reserves the right to determine if the issue in question is covered by warranty. If a repair is impractical, you will be furnished a replacement part, or parts, of the same or similar color, design, style and quality. Please note that some finishes may require a color sample to be sent back to Wilding Wallbeds to match grain, color or glaze patterns. If this is required it will be done at the expense of Wilding Wallbeds and some limitations may apply.

Manufacturer’s Limited Warranty – Furniture

Wilding Wallbeds is committed to the quality and safety of our products, and we want you to be satisfied with your Wilding Wallbed product for the entire time you own it. Should the product fail structurally during the first year of the original ownership, due to workmanship or material, Wilding Wallbeds will repair or replace it at our discretion. If Wilding Wallbeds determines that the issue in question is covered by warranty, and that repair is impractical, you will be furnished a replacement part, or parts, of the same or similar color, design, style and quality.

The Wilding Wallbeds warranty period begins at the time you receive the product through shipping or delivery. To exercise your rights under this warranty, you must include the original sales receipt when submitting a claim, and you must be the original purchaser. If you notice a manufacturers defect, it is important for you to promptly notify Wilding Wallbeds Customer Service Team. After submission of a claim, it may be necessary for Wilding Wallbeds to inspect your furniture at our warehouse to determine whether or not a manufacturing defect exists. Transportation of the product requiring repair or replacement to the Wilding Wallbeds warehouse will be at purchaser’s expense. These are your exclusive remedies under your Wilding Wallbeds warranty.

Warranty Terms

30 day warranty on All Products

Wilding Wallbeds offers a 30 day unconditional warranty on all of our products.  If you are not satisfied with your Wilding Wallbeds product within 30 days of receiving your order, you are welcome to return it for a full refund of the product cost.  To qualify for this warranty the product must to be returned to Wilding Wallbeds Production Facility in the original packaging, shipping and handling fees or return shipping fees are not refundable or covered by this Warranty. Customers requiring White Glove shipping will incur additional fees for re-boxing the product or for product pickup. Wilding Wallbeds does not cover installation or un-installation charges incurred by the customer inside of this 30 day period. Additionally, repair and or restocking fees may apply.

Wood Furniture

Wilding Wallbeds includes a 12 month limited warranty on structural or manufacturing defects in all wood furniture products manufactured by Wilding Wallbeds.  These products include Murphy Beds, Wallbeds, Wildwood TV Lift Beds, Wildwood TV Lift Cabinets, Side Cabinets, and any custom product manufactured by Wilding Wallbeds. The coverage starts from the time you receive your product shipment. Wilding Wallbeds will cover the cost of parts only, inside this 12 month period.  Our Warranty does not cover shipping, handling, service fees. or un-installation and or re-installation fees incurred by the customer to replace parts or products. Wilding Wallbeds will determine if the issue in question is covered by warranty, and that if a repair is impractical, you will be furnished a replacement part, or parts, of the same or similar color, design, style and quality. Please note seasonal wood movement on solid wood products and checking in veneer is considered normal and are not considered a warranty issue.

Finishes

Wilding Wallbeds offers a 12 month limited warranty on our finishes. This one year limited warranty begins at the time you receive your shipment. This finish warranty includes all Wilding Wallbeds Grade 1, Grade 2, Grade 3 finishes and any of Wilding Wallbeds Premium Painted Finishes.  Custom Finishes or Custom Color Matched finishes may or may not be covered by this limited warranty. Please note that yellowing or finish defects related to application of oil or wax polishes are not covered by this warranty.  This warranty does not cover shipping, handling, service fees, or un-installation and re-installation fees incurred by the customer to replace these parts or products. Wilding Wallbeds will determine if the issue in question is covered by warranty, and that if a repair is impractical, you will be furnished a replacement part, or parts, of the same or similar color, design, style and quality.

Power Devices

Wilding Wallbeds offers a 36 month limited warranty on our power devices such as light kits, under cabinet LED Lighting, power disks, or power outlets. This one year warranty begins at the time you receive your product shipment. Wilding Wallbeds will cover the cost of parts during this 36 month period.  Wilding Wallbeds Power Device Warranty does not cover shipping, handling, or service fees.  Light bulbs such as Incandescent or LED, are considered a consumable product, therefore are not covered under the 36 month limited warranty on power devices.  Our Warranty does not cover shipping, handling, service fees, or un-installation and or re-installation fees incurred by the customer to replace parts or products. Wilding Wallbeds will determine if the issue in question is covered by warranty, and that if a repair is impractical, you will be furnished a replacement part, or parts, of the same or similar color, design, style and quality.

Lift Mechanisms and Bed Frames

Gallery Series, Home Front Series, and Studio Series Lift Mechanisms

Wilidng Wallbeds offers a Limited lifetime warranty on all Wilding Wallbeds Metal Bed Frames and Lift Mechanisms (piston or spring). This limited lifetime warranty applies to and is limited to all Gallery series, Home Front series, and Studio Series Wallbeds, Including our Sofa Wallbed and Studio Desk Wallbed products. This limited lifetime warranty applies to and is limited to hardware such as cabinet handles, knobs, hinges, pivot hardware, latches, file drawer locks, wallbed locks, thumb slides, and drawer glides.  This limited lifetime warranty coverage begins at the time your shipment or delivery occurs. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty excludes any defect caused by misuse, poor storage, or unauthorized repair. To obtain warranty service, the original proof of purchase will be required and the warranty only applies to the original purchaser. Our limited lifetime warranty does not cover shipping, handling, service, or installation, un-installation and or re-installation fees incurred by the customer to replace these part, or parts. Wilding Wallbeds will determine if the issue in question is covered by warranty, and that if a repair is impractical, you will be furnished a replacement part, or parts, of the same or similar color, design, style and quality.

Murphy Desk Bed Mechanisms

 Wilding Wallbeds  offers a lifetime warranty on our Murphy Desk Bed Mechanism. This warranty coverage starts at the time you receive your product shipment. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty excludes any defect which was caused by misuse, poor storage, or unauthorized repair. To obtain warranty service, the original proof of purchase will be required and the warranty only applies to the original purchaser. The lifetime warranty does not cover shipping, handling, service, or installation, un-installation and or re-installation fees incurred by the customer to replace part, or parts, of the product. Wilding Wallbeds will determine if the issue in question is covered by warranty, and that if a repair is impractical, you will be furnished a replacement part, or parts, of the same or similar color, design, style and quality.

Next Bed Murphy Frame

Our Next Bed Murphy Frames are covered for 10 years on the metal frame itself, and have a 5 year warranty on mattress support slats. The warranty coverage starts at the time you receive your shipment, and covers defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty excludes defects caused by misuse, poor storage, or unauthorized repair. To obtain warranty service, the original proof of purchase will be required and the warranty only applies to the original purchaser. This warranty does not cover shipping, handling, service, or installation, un-installation and re-installation fees incurred by the customer to replace part, or parts, of the product. Wilding Wallbeds will determine if the issue in question is covered by warranty, and that if a repair is impractical, you will be furnished a replacement part, or parts, of the same or similar color, design, style and quality.

Wildwood TV Lift Mechanisms

Wildwood TV Lift Standard and Deluxe Lift Mechanisms are covered by a 5 year warranty. The warranty coverage starts from the time you receive your shipment, and covers defects in materials and workmanship This warranty excludes defects caused by misuse, poor storage, or unauthorized repair. To obtain warranty service, the original proof of purchase will be required and the warranty only applies to the original purchaser. The 5 year warranty does not cover shipping, handling, service, or installation, un-installation and or re-installation fees incurred by the customer to replace part, or parts, of the product. Wilding Wallbeds will determine if the issue in question is covered by warranty, and that if a repair is impractical, you will be furnished a replacement part, or parts, of the same or similar color, design, style and quality.

360 Degree Tilt Mechanism (Nexus 21)

Wildwood 360 Degree Tilt Lift Mechanisms are covered by a 10 year warranty. The warranty coverage starts at the time you receive your shipment, and covers defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty excludes defects caused by misuse, poor storage, or unauthorized repair. To obtain warranty service, the original proof of purchase will be required and the warranty only applies to the original purchaser. The 10 year warranty does not cover shipping, handling, service, or installation, un-installation and or re-installation fees incurred by the customer to replace part, or parts, of the product. Wilding Wallbeds will determine if the issue in question is covered by warranty, and that if a repair is impractical, you will be furnished a replacement part, or parts, of the same or similar color, design, style and quality.

Upholstery

Wilding Wallbeds offers a 6 month warranty on our upholstered products, these products include Upholstered headboard inserts and sofas. Upholstered furniture is inherently more prone to wear and tear from normal household use than solid wood furniture. There is a separate limited warranty on cushion cores of 12 months from the time you receive your shipment, and covers defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty excludes defects caused by misuse, poor storage, unauthorized repair or normal cover or foam degradation due to use. To obtain warranty service, the original proof of purchase will be required and the warranty only applies to the original purchaser. The warranties will not cover shipping, handling, service, or installation, un-installation and or re-installation fees incurred by the customer to replace part, or parts, of the product. Wilding Wallbeds will determine if the issue in question is covered by warranty, and that if a repair is impractical, you will be furnished a replacement part, or parts, of the same or similar color, design, style and quality.

Products not manufactured by Wilding Wallbeds

Serta Mattresses

Wilding Wallbeds is not liable for the product provided by Serta Mattresses.  Serta’s warranty is stated on the mattress warranty tag. Wilding Wallbeds implies no warranty based on personal comfort. The limited manufactures warranty applies to the part only and does not cover shipping, handling, or service fees.

Boyd Specialty Sleep Mattress

Wilding Wallbeds is not liable for the product provided by Boyd Specialty Sleep Mattresses.  The Boyd Specialty Sleep Mattress warranty is stated on the mattress warranty tag. Wilding Wallbeds Implies no warranty based on personal comfort. The limited manufactures warranty applies to the part only and does not cover shipping, handling, or service fees.

TV’s

Any and all TV’s provided to the customer by Wilding Wallbeds for Wildwood TV Lift beds hold the warranty offered by the TV manufacture.  Warranty information will be provided inside the packaging of the TV. The limited manufactures warranty applies to the part only and does not cover shipping, handling, or service fees.

Malouf Mattress Covers/Protectors

Malouf Mattress Covers and Protectors warranty varies with each cover or protector. Details will be included inside the packaging. The limited warranty applies to the part only and does not cover shipping, handling, or service fees.

IR Repeater, Media Hub, Lift Remotes

All Wildwood TV Lift IR Repeater systems, Media Hubs, and Lift Remotes are covered under a limited 12 month warranty from date of your shipment. To obtain warranty service, the original proof of purchase will be required and the warranty only applies to the original owner. The Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty excludes defects caused by misuse, poor storage, or unauthorized repair. The 12 month warranty applies to the part only and does not cover shipping, handling, or service fees.

Night and Day Murphy Cabinet Beds

Night and Day Murphy Cabinet Beds have a 10 year warranty from the manufacture.  This warranty is offered from Pacific Manufacturing not Wilding Wallbeds. To Obtain warranty service please notify Pacific Manufacturing Monday through Friday 9am-5pm Pacific Time at 805-487-3330. The original proof of purchase will be required and the warranty only applies to the original owner.  The Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty excludes defects caused by misuse, poor storage, or unauthorized repair. The warranty does not cover shipping, handling, service, or installation, un-installation and or re-installation fees incurred by the customer to replace part, or parts, of the product.  Pacific Manufacturing will determine if the issue in question is covered by warranty, and that if a repair is impractical, you will be furnished a replacement part, or parts, of the same or similar color, design, style and quality.

Wilding Wallbeds Installation Warranty

Wilding Wallbeds warranties our professional installation for a period of 12 months from the installation date. This warranty covers defects in the installation that occur which affect the performance of the product. To obtain warranty service, the original proof of purchase will be required and the warranty only applies to the original purchaser. This warranty does not cover situations where the product was re-installed for any purpose by any other individual or organizations. For warranty service, notify Wilding Wallbeds Customer Service within this warranty period and we will rectify, resupply or refund the purchase price of the installation at our discretion.

Wallbed Services Installation Warranty

Wilding Services warranties the labor for a period of 12 months from installation date. Defects in the installation that occur which affect the performance of the product. To obtain warranty service, the original proof of purchase will be required and the warranty only applies to the original purchaser. Please notify Wilding Wallbeds Customer Service within this warranty period and we will rectify, resupply or refund the purchase price of the installation, at Wallbed Services discretion.

LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS

The following will limit or exclude coverage under this warranty:

Implied Warranties

Implied warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in time to the term of your limited warranty stated herein. All implied warranties are specifically disclaimed after the limited warranty has expired. By “implied warranties”, Wilding Wallbeds means warranties that the law sometimes implies to have been given by the seller even though they are not set out in writing. (Some states do not allow an exclusion or limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations or exclusion may not apply to you.)

Place of Purchase

This limited warranty is valid only in connection with the original purchase of new products from Wilding Wallbeds and authorized dealers, and extends from the original purchase date of the original product purchased. An “original purchaser,” for the purposes of this Limited Warranty, is an individual or entity who purchased the product directly from Wilding Wallbeds or an authorized retailer of Wilding Wallbeds with the intent to use the product for personal consumer use and not for commercial or industrial use and not with the intent to resell the product. An “authorized retailer,” for purposes of this Limited Warranty, is an individual or entity authorized by Wilding Wallbeds to sell product directly to original purchasers. An individual or entity that purchases the product from whatever source with the intent to resell the product is an unauthorized reseller (“unauthorized reseller”).

Household Use

This warranty applies only when you have purchased the Wilding Wallbeds product/s for your own normal indoor household use (including use as a gift to another for household purposes) and not for resale or commercial use, which includes rental, business, institutional or other non-residential use unless specified by Wilding Wallbeds.

Improper Care and Use

Your Wilding Wallbed products require some routine maintenance to maintain beauty and structural integrity. Please take care to treat your Wilding Wallbed products like the fine furniture pieces they are. Proper care and use are essential to preserving your rights under this warranty. Wilding Wallbeds will not repair or replace your furniture if improper maintenance or improper use causes damage. This warranty does not apply if your Wilding Wallbeds product is damaged by the use of detergents, abrasives or other improper cleaning agents.

Accidents, Abuse and Normal Wear and Tear

This warranty does not cover damage resulting from negligence, abuse, normal wear and tear, or accidents: including burns, cuts, scratches, tears, scuffs, watermarks, sun damage, extreme temperatures, indentations or pet damage. Damage occurring during the delivery or set up of your Wilding Wallbeds products in your home is not covered by this warranty and should be addressed with the party making delivery.

Storage Facilities

Storage facilities are prone to drastic changes in humidity and temperature, even if they claim to be climate-controlled. Any defect to the structure or finish on a product that is noted during or immediately following prolonged storage in a storage facility will not be covered under warranty.

Product Modification

Any product modification by dealer, consumer, or other parties are not authorized by Wilding Wallbeds will void this warranty.

Floor Samples or Products Purchased “AS IS”

This warranty does not cover products designated “AS IS” at the time of purchase. This Limited Warranty does not apply to floor models or to products sold by unauthorized resellers, including without limitation, unauthorized resellers on third party websites. Unauthorized resellers are not “original purchasers” for the purpose of this Limited Warranty. If purchaser is not the original purchaser of this product, purchaser takes the product “AS IS,” “with all faults” and without warranty.

Differences from Floor Samples or Literature

Because of craftsmanship or use of natural materials in Wilding Wallbeds products, minor variations in color, wood grain, or construction will occur from piece to piece. Therefore, this warranty does not cover such minor differences, or differences between floor samples or printed illustrations and your furniture.

Consequential or Incidental Damages

Wilding Wallbeds will not be liable for consequential or incidental damages including, without limitation, any liability for third party claims against you for damages. By this Wilding Wallbeds means any loss, expense, or damage other than to the furniture itself that may result from a defect in the furniture as determined by Wilding Wallbeds. (Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.)

YOUR WARRANTY RIGHTS

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state. Except for such other rights, the remedies provided under this warranty state the limit of  Wilding Wallbeds responsibilities.
