Bunk beds are a great way to sleep many people in a small area. Murphy bunk beds are an even better way.
Murphy bunk beds consist of two twin size beds stacked on top of each other that both fold up into the cabinet. A common question about our bunk beds is about the weight limit. The top bunk has been tested to 2000 lbs, the bottom can hold up to 4000 lbs, so weight is never an issue. The bunk beds can be built in standard Twin size or Twin XL.
The mattress you choose truly determines the comfort of your Murphy bed. Our beds can take any mattress up to 12” thick but not every mattress is able to stand on end without slumping or sagging. We have worked with Serta to design a line of mattresses specifically for our Murphy beds. These mattresses fit, will stand, and are warrantied for 10 years in our beds.
