Normal Depth or Extra Deep?

| Trying to decide between a normal depth bed or extra deep bed? The difference is that a normal depth bed comes out from the wall 16 inches and the headboard has a simple hardwood top. An extra deep bed comes out from the wall twenty inches and has a six-inch wood top to place books, alarm clocks, or glasses, or store pillows for example. The cabinets for a standard normal-depth bed are 13 1/2 inches deep and the cabinets for an extra deep bed are 18 inches deep. Please note that the Wardrobe Side Cabinet, Secretary Side Cabinet, or Computer Desk Side Cabinets require an extra deep bed.

This is the most functional and beautiful drop down table in the industry. This unique drop down table is designed to attach to the face of most vertical Wilding Wallbeds, and produces a table that is approximately 48 inches long and 30 inches wide (actual sizes vary depending on model). Recognizing that each of the Wall Bed styles has a unique face design, the table leg is designed to match the style of bed you choose. A Presidential bed will have a table with a raised panel leg. A Brittany will have a table that has a flat panel leg. A Mission Street will have a mission-style leg and the other models will have equally matching legs.
In a spare room or home office, this table functions like a desk giving ample space for craft work, bill-paying, letter writing, lap top use and more. In an apartment where floor space is a challenge, this can be used as a dining table too. Unlike other bed tables in the industry, this drop down table can lock in the up position when your bed is up or you can lower the table into the working position. This gives you the ability to get the table out of your way when you want it gone and lower it when you need the work-space. Other bed tables must be in the down position when the bed is up.
The drop down table is held securely in place by two "thumb-slide" locks positioned in the center of the table, one at the top and one at the bottom. These thumb-slides move just like they sound, just slide them up or down with your thumb. Because of the location of the upper lock (over six feet high) it is out of reach of small children, so there's no chance of accidentally opening the table.

Wilding Wallbeds Lighting System

Finish off your Wilding Wallbed by adding a beautiful, functional and safe wall bed touch light system. This system includes dual canister style lights, touch switch, control box and safety cut-off. The canister fixtures fit into the bridge board of the wall bed. All power cords are concealed within the cabinetry so there are no unsightly cords showing. This light system simply plugs into any standard plug outlet, and is simple to install.
The system is designed so that the first time you touch the "touch switch," the lights turn on to a low setting, the second time you touch the "touch switch," the lights turn to a medium setting, the third time you touch the "touch switch," the lights turn onto the high setting, the fourth time you touch the "touch switch," the lights will turn off. Our Wall Bed lights also include the "safety cut-off," which provides comfort and safety. If you inadvertently leave the lights on, and go to close the bed, the lights will automatically shut off before the bed even fully closes, so you can not accidentally leave the lights on. The next time you open the bed the lights will remain off until you touch the "touch switch." If this is being used as a guest room or a master bedroom the convenience and security of the wall bed lights will be greatly appreciated. Wall bed lights are available in Brass, Black, or Chrome.

| As an addition to any of our many selections of side cabinets, you can add our functional Slide Out Night Tray. This night tray functions like a portable night stand. You have the convenience of the night stand at the bed side when you want it, and it slides away when you need the space. This night tray is positioned above the lower cabinet or above the middle drawer in cabinets that have drawers in the lower area, and rolls out at mattress height making it extremely convenient to use. When the night tray is closed it appears to be a beautiful trim on the face of the cabinet. If you pull on this trim it rolls straight out and becomes a handy little night tray. The night tray is attached to “Accuride” full extension 100 lb glides, so it’s as durable as you will ever need it to be. This night tray allows your guests to keep things close at hand throughout the night, like reading glasses, a book, cell phone, medications or a glass of water. What a great way to show your guests that you are concerned for their comfort.

Side Cabinet Lights
Side Cabinet Lights are an option that may be added to any of our vertical bed side cabinet selections. As with our bed light kit, our cabinet lights are available in the same three color selections; Brass, Chrome, or Black. The cabinet light can plug into any standard 110-volt power outlet. The light is activated by a push-button switch, which is located in the top of the side cabinet. We position the push button, inconspicuously, toward the outside edge of the cabinet. These cabinet lights are a great addition and add ambient warmth and beauty to your cabinet selection. It is recommended to purchase the glass shelves in connection to the side cabinet light option. This provides a beautiful cabinet interior for displaying your precious keepsakes. (Side Mount bed cabinets are not available with the cabinet light option.)

Glass ShelvesGlass shelves may be ordered instead of our standard wood shelves in any of our side cabinet selections. Standard Quarter Inch Glass Shelves may be added to most of our Standard cabinets for $50 per cabinet. For Glass shelf pricing on Bookcase Cabinets or custom cabinets please ask for pricing. It is recommended to purchase the cabinet light in connection with the glass shelf option. This provides a beautiful cabinet interior for displaying your precious keepsakes.

Glass doors are a great way to turn your standard side cabinet selection into a beautiful curio for displaying your valuable collectables, or adding that special distinction to the overall look of the cabinet. If using the cabinet as a curio, it is recommended to purchase the cabinet light and the glass shelf option in connection with the glass door option for full effect. Glass doors add that additional touch of class to Wardrobe and Secretary cabinets too. Glass doors come standard with wood framing. The glass doors are also available with a "French Lite" which is a wood lattice work inserted between the wood frames across the face of the glass. French lites are available by "special request" please make sure to mention them during the ordering process. Side cabinets ordered with glass doors are priced the same as our Wardrobe cabinets plus $125.00 per door for your selection of any or our glass styles. Because we use specialty Art Glass, size restrictions may apply to your door selection. See information below.
