The Alpine II Murphy Bed

The Alpine II Murphy Bed has a simple, understated beauty that fits perfectly with any style of furnishings. This Wallbed is constructed with our specially made seven band furniture grade plywood. After hand selecting the plywood for color and grain uniformity we then use the same discerning process to select the solid wood trim that we mill to complete the look on the face of your Murphy Bed. In the case of the Alpine II we apply a four panel design with wide solid wood columns along the sides that compliment the panels and help disguise the double locking legs. The Alpine II Murphy Bed utilizes our unique piston actuated lift system that provides smooth, silent operation of the bed. The piston lift mechanism has a lifetime warranty and is designed for years of trouble free operation. The patented double locking legs must both be deployed before opening the bed, which locks in the upright position, giving you the peace of mind of knowing little ones can't accidentally lower the Murphy Bed without supervision.

Like all Wilding Wallbeds, the The Alpine II is built by our craftsmen in our production facility in St George, Utah. We offer Oak, Alder, Cherry, Mahogany and Maple as well as Knotty Alder and Rustic Cherry as standard choices. If you want something a little more exotic like Walnut or Hickory let us prepare a quote based on current market prices for your wood of choice. As for stain colors, we are pretty sure you'll find that one of our twenty two available colors will give you the look you're after. If not, we can custom match that favorite piece in your home if you provide a sample for us. You may also choose any stain or paint color from the Sherwin Williams Color Deck.

The Alpine II has matching solid wood face framed side cabinets available that will add storage and functionality for your guests or the lucky member of your family that uses the bed nightly. The side cabinets are available as bookcases with adjustable shelves, with three lower drawers, with a lower door and drawer or with three lower drawers and an upper door with adjustable shelves or a closet bar, creating space to store linens or hang clothes. All side cabinets are also available with glass shelves and doors as well as with built in cabinet lights to display prized keepsakes. Standard sizes for the side cabinets are 77" tall and either 18", 24" or 30" wide. However, if you want the cabinets to be the same height as your bed or need widths not listed to fit a particular space, we'll be happy to customize, please call for pricing. The Alpine II is also available with our drop down table option which can be used as desk space or for sewing or crafts.
