Commercial rated, black powder coated steel Murphy frame. This functional Murphy bed frame is able to be mounted to your floor or your wall. This product ships disassembled and will require approximately an hour and a half for assembly. This is the perfect product for Time-Share, Hotel and Motel use, or for the homeowner who has the closet space. Note: Wall mounting requires a additional bracket. Note: This Murphy Frame requires a Ply wood deck or Bunkie Board deck to support the mattress. Bunkie Board decks are available from most mattress dealers.

Bunkie Board

Wilding Wallbeds recommends this specific Bunkie Board for use with your our Murphy Frame. This Bunkie Board will produce a completely flat surface for your mattress to sit on. Because of the design of the Murphy Frame, if you elect to use your own Bunkie Board or a piece of ply wood for the mattress deck, there will be a slight slope from head to foot of your mattress. The reason for this slope is the "Angle Iron Spring Attachment Bar" at the head of the Murphy Frame which protrudes above the elevation of the mattress deck. This specially designed Bunkie Board has a slot at the head to receive the Angle Iron Spring Attachment Bar so that it pockets into that slot leaving a completely flat surface for the mattress. Just one more reason why Wilding Wallbeds excels in customer satisfaction.

Note: Wilding Wallbeds recomends a mattress that does not exceed 12" in height for use on this Murphy Frame. If you elect to use your own bunkie board, please be aware that the "Minimum Closet Dimensions" listed above will certainly change. We also want to make you aware the from manufacture to manufacture of mattresses, mattress dimensions will change.
