Want to squeeze every inch of practicality out of your new Wallbed? Look no further than our unique Bookcase Wallbeds. Where else can you get the convenience of a Murphy Bed and the storage of an integral bookcase in one unit? All of our Bookcase Wallbeds, whether Twin, Full or Queen size come with a commercially rated, powder coated, steel Murphy frame complete with European style wood slat mattress support for comfort and wall mount brackets for easy installation.
Standard Bookcase Wallbeds will hold up to 200 lbs. per bookcase section (400 lbs. total), while the Bi-Fold Bookcase Wallbeds will hold up to 60 lbs. per bookcase section (240 lbs. total) evenly distributed.
Want to add more storage and functionality to your Bookcase Wallbed? We offer an array of optional side cabinets that can be made with a combination of doors, drawers and adjustable shelves to suit your needs, our bookcase side cabinets are shown below. Please note the side cabinets will be 15" deep with the Bookcase Wallbeds instead of our normal 14" or 18" depths to accommodate the bookcases when open.
As if the combination of the Wallbed and Bookcase weren't enough to maximize how practical this unit is, how about using the Bookcase without the Wallbed as an entertainment center for your home theater or as a hidden entrance to a secret or panic room? We've had customers use our Bookcase Wallbeds for both purposes.
Wilding Wallbeds recommends that your mattress doesn't exceed 11" in depth for use in the Bookcase Wallbed. Please be aware that even so-called "standard" mattress sizes may vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. To take all the guess work out of mattress selection we offer a full line of Serta mattresses that were designed and built specifically for use in our Wallbeds.
